Westflux

A digital operating surface for a growing midstream energy company

WebZohoSecuritySEO

Overview

Westflux Integrated Services is a pre-operational midstream energy company developing modular gas-processing infrastructure with planned capacity of up to 60 MMSCFD. Its platform explains LNG, CNG, gas-generator, and transition-to-natural-gas offerings while giving businesses practical savings calculators, company information, careers, and direct contact journeys.

My role at Westflux

Fullstack Developer & IT Support Engineer · Contract
January—October 2026
Remote · Nigeria

I rebuilt the public experience and operated the systems that kept it useful, secure, and current.

  1. 01

Redesigned and developed the Westflux website from the ground up, improving performance, functionality, responsive behavior, and the overall user journey.

  2. 02

Managed hosting and established infrastructure monitoring for uptime, page speed, broken links, malware, DNS poisoning, and vulnerabilities.

  3. 03

Hardened server security and maintained reliable backup and restoration workflows supported by monthly system-health reporting.

  4. 04

Administered and optimised the organisation’s Zoho suite, including subscriptions and platform utilisation.

  5. 05

Worked with SEO specialists on architectural improvements and used analytics to evaluate traffic coverage and performance.

  6. 06

Streamlined publishing for insights, vacancies, and careers content while maintaining a documented 24-hour technical-support response SLA.

01 / Challenge

The conditions that shaped the system.

A useful architecture begins with the real constraint.

The company needed a credible digital presence for customers, partners, investors, and candidates while its operations were still being developed. The website also had to function as a dependable business system: fast, discoverable, secure, easy to update, measurable, and supported alongside the organisation’s Zoho tools and hosting infrastructure.

03 / Approach

How the build was organised.

Make the boundaries clear, then move.

  1. 01

Redesigned and rebuilt the Westflux website around its midstream-energy story, solutions, calculators, business customers, careers, insights, and contact journeys.

  2. 02

Established continuous checks for uptime, page speed, broken links, malware, DNS poisoning, vulnerabilities, backups, and restoration readiness.

  3. 03

Administered and optimised the Zoho suite, supported SEO architecture and analytics, streamlined dynamic content publishing, and operated a documented 24-hour support SLA.

04 / Engineering decisions

Decisions that carried the product.

01

Clarity during pre-operations

The information architecture presents planned gas-processing capabilities and customer value clearly without implying that the processing facility is already operational.

02

Operations around the website

Monitoring, security, backups, content, analytics, and support were designed as one operating layer around the public experience.

03

Content without deployment friction

Structured Excel-based datasets enabled timely publication of insights, job listings, and careers content without turning every update into a development task.

05 / Outcomes

What changed after the work.
